Man Stabbed On Expo Line In Santa Monica
The suspect confessed and was taken into custody, authorities said.
SANTA MONICA, CA — A man was wounded Saturday in a stabbing on the Expo Line in Santa Monica, authorities said.
It was reported at 4:53 a.m. at Fourth Street and Colorado Avenue, but neither victim nor suspect was there when sheriff's deputies arrived, said Ramon Montenegro of the Sheriff's Transit Services Bureau.
Deputies found both at the 26th Street and Michigan Avenue, Montenegro said. They detained the men and the victim positively identified the suspect, he said.

Paramedics took the victim to a hospital for treatment of chest wounds and the suspect confessed and was taken into custody, he said.
The victim is expected to survive, he said.
