Man Stabbed Near Santa Monica Beach Restrooms
SMPD officers said they found a man near the beach restrooms with at least one stab wound to his chest.

SANTA MONICA, CA — A man was stabbed near the Santa Monica Beach restrooms Monday afternoon, police said.
According to the Santa Monica Police Department, officers got a 911 call at about 2:07 p.m. about an assault with a deadly weapon in the 2000 block of the beach.
When officers arrived, they said they found a man near the beach restrooms with at least one stab wound to his chest. Officers provided first aid and CPR until Fire Department paramedics arrived and transported the man to a local hospital.

KCAL9 reported from the scene that the person was unconscious and not breathing when taken to a hospital.
It was unclear if any suspects were in custody.
