No Limits Announces "An Evening with No Limits" Annual Gala to Benefit Deaf Children

Honorees Include Jay, Lance, Sean and Beth Jackson & Joshua Wagner

Celebrating their 20th anniversary, No Limits continues teaching children who are deaf and hard of hearing the skills needed to succeed in school and in life. Despite the advancements in hearing technology, deaf children still arrive at No Limits not knowing the alphabet or how to read a simple sentence. Some, don’t even know how to say their own names. No Limits helps these children connect to the world around them so that they may achieve their dreams, as proven by their 100% college graduation success rate.

Today, No Limits announces their annual gala “An Evening with No Limits,” that will take place on Saturday, October 22nd at a private estate overlooking the Riviera Country Club in Santa Monica. The event will feature delicious food from Sugarfish, Animal, Badmaash, Il Fico, and Sprinkles Cupcakes, entertainment by the Richard Glaser Jazz Band, and a special performance from the children and alumni of No Limits. In addition, NBC weathercaster Fritz Coleman will host the live auction while talk show host Leeza Gibbons and comedian Kathy Buckley will also be a part of the program.

Five supporters will be honored for their significant contributions to the organization including Jay, Lance, Sean, and Beth Jackson (Spirit of Giving Award) and Joshua Wagner (Spirit of Leadership Award). Proceeds from the gala will benefit hundreds of low-income deaf children and their families by providing essential services that will give them a future with No Limits

“Our goal this year is to raise $500,000 to dramatically expand the outreach of No Limits and the incredibly important and successful services offered for deaf and hard of hearing children,” explains Jamara Ghalayini, Event Chair. “Additionally, we hope to exponentially increase the awareness of our work well beyond the local area giving more children access to dream big!”

No Limits is the only program in the country that provides comprehensive educational services to school-age deaf children at no cost to low-income families, teaching deaf children not only how to speak, read, and write, but also to connect to the hearing world, removing the barrier of isolation and loneliness that can accompany deafness.
