Pedestrian Struck, Killed By Bus In Santa Monica

SANTA MONICA, CA — A pedestrian was struck and killed by a bus in Santa Monica on Friday afternoon.

The person was struck at around 2:40 p.m. Friday near Main Street and Ocean Park Boulevard, according to the Santa Monica Police Department.

The Metro bus struck the pedestrian near the intersection, according to KTLA, which aired aerial footage of the scene.

Matin Street was closed between Ocean Park Boulevard and Hollister Avenue, according to police.
