Road Repairs Set To Affect McClure Tunnel In Santa Monica

An inlet replacement project between the McClure Tunnel and California Incline will close one northbound lane from 9 am to 3 pm Wednesday.

SANTA MONICA, CA — An inlet replacement project between the McClure Tunnel and California Incline will close one northbound lane of Pacific Coast Highway from 9 am to 3 pm Wednesday through Friday.

The repair work is part of a Caltrans effort to complete repairs along PCH that were caused during the Palisades Fire in January, 2025.

The closure is weather-permitting and subject to change. Fines are doubled in work zones. Also, motorists are advised to allow extra time, use alternate routes where possible, and exercise caution near any blind curves in or near the area.
