CHP Temporarily Shutters Offices Across California
Offices in the Los Angeles, San Diego, Riverside, Bay Area and Sacramento areas will close to the public, California Highway Patrol said.

CALIFORNIA — The California Highway Patrol has closed offices across California to the public amid widespread protests, looting, vandalism and arson in the wake of George Floyd's death.
NorCal office closures will take place in the nine-county San Francisco Bay Area, the City of Sacramento and the City of West Sacramento. SoCal closures will impact offices in Los Angeles County, San Diego County, Riverside County and the City of San Bernardino, CHP said.
Anyone who needs help should still call 911, but CHP advises members of the public to contact their local CHP station for hours of operation.
