Porn Star Ron Jeremy Charged With Raping 3 Women

LOS ANGELES, CA — Adult film star Ron Jeremy has been charged with raping three women and sexually assaulting another in a series of attacks dating back to 2014, Los Angeles County District Attorney Jackie Lacey announced Tuesday. A judge ordered him to be jailed in lieu of $6.6 million bail Tuesday afternoon.

Jeremy, 67, faces 90 years to life in state prison if convicted. One of the most famous actors in adult film, Jeremy is due to be arraigned in a downtown Los Angeles courtroom Friday on an eight-count criminal complaint. Jeremy, whose real name is Ronald Jeremy Hyatt, faces three counts each of forcible rape and forcible penetration by a foreign object and one count each of forcible oral copulation and sexual battery.

According to prosecutors, Jeremy raped a 25-year-old woman at a home in West Hollywood in May of 2014. He is also accused of sexually assaulting two women, ages 33 and 46, on separate occasions at a West Hollywood bar in 2017. Prosecutors He also is allege he forcibly raped a 30-year-old woman at the same bar in July 2019.

The District Attorney’s Office also declined a case against Hyatt due to insufficient evidence stemming from an incident in 2016.

Prosecutors are recommending bail at $6.6 million.
