Harris Motorcade To Jam Rush Hour Traffic
Vice President Kamala Harris will fly into LAX and is expected to cause Westside and 405 road closures to kick off the long weekend.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Expect delays as the evening rush hour gets underway because Vice President Kamala Harris is expected to fly into Los Angeles International Airport Friday evening.
The Vice President, who lives in Brentwood, is expected to stay in Los Angeles through the Juneteenth holiday weekend. She has an appearance Monday in Griffith Park.
Drivers can expect motorcade delays and road closures in the Westchester and West Los Angeles areas shortly after 6 p.m. Friday. Possible motorcade delays could pop up over the weekend if Harris and her husband attend private events.

Harris is scheduled to arrive from Denver just after 6 p.m., according to her office. Her motorcade route is expected to cause rolling road closures both on and off the San Diego (405) Freeway and surrounding Westside roads.
According to her office, Harris will be accompanied by her husband, Douglas Emhoff, and they have no planned public appearances scheduled over the weekend.
