LOS ANGELES, CA — Expect delays as the evening rush hour gets underway because Vice President Kamala Harris is expected to fly into Los Angeles International Airport Friday evening.

The Vice President, who lives in Brentwood, is expected to stay in Los Angeles through the Juneteenth holiday weekend. She has an appearance Monday in Griffith Park.

Harris is scheduled to arrive from Denver just after 6 p.m., according to her office. Her motorcade route is expected to cause rolling road closures both on and off the San Diego (405) Freeway and surrounding Westside roads.

According to her office, Harris will be accompanied by her husband, Douglas Emhoff, and they have no planned public appearances scheduled over the weekend.
