Brush Fire Blazes Near Santa Monica Freeway
The fire broke out near the Santa Monica Freeway and Lincoln Boulevard at around 2:40 p.m.
SANTA MONICA, CA — The Santa Monica Fire Department responded to a brush fire that broke out near the Santa Monica Freeway and Lincoln Boulevard on Monday.
Firefighters responded to the blaze at 2:40 p.m. and instructed travelers to avoid the area as efforts may have caused delays in traffic.
The fire was cleared about an hour later at 3:27 p.m. according to SMFD.
