Santa Monica High School Theatre Presents 'Side Show'

SANTA MONICA, CA – Santa Monica High School Theatre's production of "Side Show" debuts Friday and tickets are on sale now.

"Enter the 1920s world of the traveling freak show and follow the story of the legendary conjoined twins Daisy and Violet Hilton in this engrossing showbiz saga," the press release said. "Join the Bearded Lady, Tattoo Girl, Dog Boy, Half-Man Half-Woman, Human Pin Cushion and more and 'Come See the Freaks' in the opening number of Side Show. Be prepared to be entertained by this amazing musical accompanied by a full orchestra."

The show features soulful music, beautiful lyrics and powerhouse showstoppers, according to director Kate Barraza.

"Side Show reminds us just how important it is to accept and celebrate that which makes us unique," she said.

The Side Show performances will be at the Barnum Hall on the following dates:

• Friday, March 1 at 7 p.m.
• Saturday, March 2 at 7 p.m.
• Sunday, March 3 at 5 p.m.
• Friday, March 8 at 7 p.m.
• Saturday, March 9 at 7 p.m.
