Santa Monica Hospital Participating In COVID-19 Clinical Trials

SANTA MONICA, CA — A Santa Monica hospital is participating in COVID-19 clinical trials, officials confirmed with Patch Tuesday.

Six trials are happening at Providence St. John's in Santa Monica , Director of Relations at Providence St. John's Patricia Aidem told Patch.

Providence St. John's will announce more information about the COVID-19 clinical trials later this week in a virtual press conference, Aidem told Patch.

Several Southern California hospitals are offering clinical trials to help fight the coronavirus pandemic and offer potential treatment for patients, including MemorialCare Long Beach Medical Center and the University of California, Davis.
