Santa Monica Pier Honors First Responders In Coronavirus Fight
Santa Monica Pier is honoring first responders working on the frontlines of the coronavirus pandemic.
SANTA MONICA, CA — Santa Monica Pier is honoring first responders on the front line of the coronavirus pandemic by lighting up the Wheel at Pacific Park in blue.
The famed Ferris wheel is dotted with encouraging messages saying: "Thank you Doctors, Thank You Nurses, Thank You Medical Staff."
The special light dedication starts each night at dusk, from 7:30 p.m., until midnight.

Watch the special light display on Pacific Park's live camera. The live web cam streams live 24/7 from multiple locations on the pier.
The Santa Monica Pier and Pacific Park remain closed following the city's emergency order to close parks and public locations in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. It's unclear when the park will reopen and the statewide stay-home order will be lifted.
