Santa Monica Pier's Ferris Wheel Goes Green For Earth Day
Pacific Park's Ferris wheel at Santa Monica Pier will light up green for Earth Day.

SANTA MONICA, CA — Pacific Park's solar-powered Ferris wheel at Santa Monica Pier will go green for Earth Day today.
The Ferris wheel light show starts at sunset at Pacific Park, 380 Santa Monica Pier, about 7:31 p.m. to 12 a.m. and features a variety of green and blue colors, patterns, and icons, along with a spinning globe.
The Ferris wheel is nine stories high and has 174,000 LED lights mounted. It's the world’s only solar-powered Ferris wheel and its lighting system features 16.7 million color value combinations

Pacific Park remains closed at Santa Monica Pier during the coronavirus pandemic and in part of the state's stay-at-home order.
