Santa Monica Weather: Fog, Cool Temps Replace Excessive Heat

SANTA MONICA, CA – After long, grueling days of red flag warnings, wind advisories, and excessive heat warnings, Southlanders will finally get some much needed relief from the blazing temperatures. Looking ahead to this week, the weather will drop significantly along with an increase in fog – and even the chance of rain.

Pull out your sweaters and fuzzy socks for some cozy fall weather. Here's temperatures in Santa Monica this week from the National Weather Service:

Patchy drizzle before 11am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 65. Southeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming south southwest in the morning.

A 20 percent chance of rain after 11pm. Cloudy, with a low around 59. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming southeast in the evening.

A 20 percent chance of rain before 11am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 65. Southeast wind around 5 mph becoming southwest in the morning.
