Special Plea for a Special Guy

Look at this handsome guy! Rocky was at a starvation weight for years. We know this because he was in and out of the pound several times and each time he weighed about 60 lbs., which was 20 lbs. underweight. He's been in a wonderful foster home the past several months, and here he is at 80+ lbs. and looking magnificent! His coat is fluffy and his eyes are bright.

He had no problem eating but he needed the right foster to help him put on the weight because his inability to gain weight was stress related. Now he needs the right family to love him and keep him healthy for the rest of his life! We know you're out there, come and get this handsome and funny dude. (He loves toys and loves to carry them around with him.)

The situation is dire because his foster is leaving town, and if he's shoved back in a cage, his health will decline especially since he's now used to a home living. So even just a foster home would be helpful, but it's time that he deserves a permanent home. Please contact us if you can or know someone who can adopt him.
