From an edited press release:
A new restaurant specializing in super foods is coming to Santa Monica.

Guests of the eatery, located on Montana Avenue between 15th and 16th streets, can look forward to wholesome, flavor-forward cuisine accessible for all palates and diets – from vegan to Paleo to gluten-free.
“Food plays an essential role in maximizing the human experience,” says Cheng, whose inspiration for the concept comes from responsibly feeding the unbridled passion with which her son, Kye, approaches all things yummy. “This is my way of offering a one-of-a-kind, yet convenient, experience that acknowledges the yin (nourishment) and yang (enjoyment) of why we eat, and will hopefully empower the way people approach everyday food.”

Kye’s will boast an eclectic, inclusive menu that draws from a variety of global influences and is centered around the brand’s proprietary KyeRito, a portable wrap/roll showcasing a medley of premium, locally-sourced fare – with distinctive ingredients ranging from grass-fed beef and house smoked wild salmon to Chinese yam, farm fresh vegetables and goji berries – in a completely new way.
The 1,200-square-foot restaurant is optimal for grab-and-go, but will also seat approximately 20 guests indoors. Additionally, Kye’s will offer delivery and catering services for off-site events.
Kye’s is located at 1518 Montana Ave., Santa Monica and will be open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily, from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Free parking will be available in the back of the restaurant. For more information, visit www.kyesmontana.com.
