There's a New Banc in Town

Banc of California opens up a branch to serve Pacific Palisades and north Santa Monica.

Banc of California has opened a new bank branch in Pacific Palisades which aims to serve north Santa Monica, too.

Located at 530 Palisades Drive in the Palisades Highlands Village Plaza, the branch will be headed by Rena Alekperova.

“I am excited to join Banc of California and bring their brand of fair and simple banking to the Palisades,” she said in a statement.

Banc of California also has a branch at 2635 Wilshire Blvd. in Santa Monica.

The bank has already been active in Pacific Palisades – CEO Steven Sugarman lives here even though the bank is based in Irvine – by sponsoring the inaugural Pacific Palisades Turkey Trot, and supporting Palisades Elementary Charter School.
