Thieves Make Off With Thousands In Cash In Montana Break-Ins: Report
Burglars broke into three Santa Monica businesses early Monday morning, making off with thousands of dollars and causing extensive damage.

SANTA MONICA, CA — A group of Burglars broke into three Santa Monica businesses early Monday morning, making off with thousands in cash and causing extensive damage, according to reports.
Santa Monica police are actively searching for the suspects who broke into Margo's, Bardonna and Pinkberry along Montana Avenue. According to a report from the Santa Monica Daily Press, the group of ski mask-wearing suspects broke a window at Margo's to gain entry to the building.
Lieutenant Erika Aklufi told the Daily Press that the suspects were seen leaving the location in a dark-colored sedan.

While there was damage apparent at Bardonna and Pinkberry, authorities said there were no reports of theft from either business.
Aklufi said the investigation into the string of burglaries is still ongoing and detectives are still gathering additional evidence about the identities of the suspects.
