Wellbeing Buy Local Festival celebrating the services and products of Santa Monica businesses at the Civic Center Surface lot. This free event brings together our local businesses, services and non-profits for a fun filled day while raising awareness about the economic and community benefits of thinking local first. Every purchase you make at a Santa Monica business directly supports our schools. Last year, proceeds from Measure Y (sales + use tax) generated $7.5 MILLION in direct funding for the Santa Monica Malibu Unified School District, helping to fund teachers, counselors, textbooks and summer school. Last year, purchases made at Santa Monica businesses raised $45 MILLION for our community, helping to fund our schools, police, fire and parks!

Enjoy food and all kinds of exhibitors, lots of give-a-ways and meet your neighbors. On stage, the Santa Monica Youth Orchestra will perform and there will be interactive classes for kids such as dance with Arthur Murray Dance Center, boxing, karate with PAL. Visit interactive booths including the photo booth with UCLA Health therapy dogs, and enter to win prizes at the bike riding skills course with Safe Routes to School. The Santa Monica Red Cross will give out Preparedness Kits, teach CPR and pet First Aid.
