Win Free Doughnuts For A Year At Astro Doughnuts & Fried Chicken

SANTA MONICA, CA – Astro Doughnuts & Fried Chicken will open its Santa Monica location on Thursday, March 28 with an opening day celebration, including a free doughnut for each guest and the chance to win free doughnuts for a year, according to the press release.

The "Golden Doughnut" will be offered every hour of the day and is redeemable for free doughnuts for an entire year. The special doughnut is filled with edible gold filing and mixed in with the rest of the free doughnuts, the press release said. Golden Doughnut winners will be selected at random once every hour throughout the day.

The location on Main Street will also be home to the city's first CBD doughnut, made with birthday cake batter and topped with a CBD-infused chocolate buttercream frosting, Astro Doughnuts said. But it's not just doughnuts – their all-day dining menu features breakfast chicken sandwiches, a French toast doughnut, bone-in fried chicken, fried chicken sandwiches, and vegetarian friendly items including roasted brussels sprouts and a grilled cheese sandwich made with savory doughnut buns.

“Santa Monica is the perfect location for Astro’s playful personality, and we’re excited to be a part of the local community,” said Founding Partner Elliot Spaisman. “We’ve added some new additions including beer and wine, which pair perfectly with fried chicken and doughnuts, along with vegan options, and a beautiful outdoor patio taking advantage of the Santa Monica atmosphere, welcoming the community to a new neighborhood spot.”

Astro Doughnuts & Fried Chicken will be located at 2309 Main Street in Santa Monica. Days and hours of operation to vary during the first three weeks of opening.
