Ivan is a live-in au pair – he also has a degree in Early Childhood Education – and his passion is working with children! Ivan has extensive childcare experiences caring for infants through school-aged children and is excited to join a family in CA in August 2017! He is a safe and careful driver. His references say, “His independence and initiative has made him a real standout among the 5 different au pairs we’ve hosted over the years. Over the months he has developed a very special bond with our baby since he spends the most time with him while the older girls are at school. Ivan challenges him to develop independence in skills like walking, balancing, and communicating his own needs, and gives him such love and affection. When I see my children’s friends parents at the supermarket or at pickup they comment on how impressed they are by how he is with the children."
Ivan is certified in pediatric and adult Red Cross CPR and First Aid. He is available for up to 45 hours per week and 10 hours per day providing childcare, as well as driving the children to school or activities, making their meals, doing their laundry, keeping their rooms tidy, teaching them Spanish language, doing crafts and activities with the children, and helping with homework. Plus, if the children are sick, Ivan is home to lovingly care for them and you don't have to miss work! The cost is about $1640/month, per family not per child.
