3 At Large In Violent Home Invasion Robbery Near El Cajon
A man was injured in a violent home invasion robbery in the unincorporated Bostonia area of San Diego County near El Cajon.
EL CAJON, CA — A man was injured in a violent home invasion robbery in the unincorporated Bostonia area of San Diego County near El Cajon and three suspects were at large Thursday morning.
Deputies from the San Diego County Sheriff's Department's Lakeside Station responded about 8:50 p.m. Wednesday to a residential burglary in the 1400 block of 5 D Drive and were told by the homeowner and her son that they heard a knock at the front door and when they opened it, three masked suspects, armed with weapons, forced their way into the home, according to Sgt. David Chandroo.
Once inside the home, one of the suspects struck the homeowner's son in his head. He sustained minor injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment, Chandroo said. The homeowner was not hurt.

The suspects took items from the home and ran off.
The suspects were all wearing black clothing and either a mask or bandana to cover their faces, Chandroo said.
