'Armed And Dangerous' Suspect Arrested After Deadly El Cajon Shooting
One person was killed and two others were wounded, police said.
EL CAJON, CA — A man suspected of killing one person and wounding two others in a shooting in El Cajon was arrested Thursday, authorities said.
The shooting happened shortly before 4:30 p.m. at a dental office in the 400 block of North Magnolia Avenue, according to the El Cajon Police Department. One person was killed and two others were wounded.
"This was an active shooter event with at least three victims," the department said on social media.

The suspect, later identified as Mohammed Abdulkareem, 29, fled the scene in a white U-Haul pickup truck with the Arizona license plate AM14894. The truck was seen headed northbound on North Mollison Avenue.
Police reported Abdulkareem, who was considered armed and dangerous, was taken into custody shortly after 10 p.m.

As of early Thursday evening, one victim had died, El Cajon police Capt. Rob Ransweiler told reporters. The other two victims, a man in his 40s and a woman in her 20s, were hospitalized in stable condition, he said.
