Authorities Investigate 'Suspicious Death' Of East County Woman
A woman in Spring Valley was found "unresponsive with signs of trauma to her body," according to the San Diego County Sheriff's Department.

SPRING VALLEY, CA — Authorities were investigating the "suspicious death" of a woman in San Diego's East County.
Court services deputies tried to serve civil process documents around 7:45 a.m. Monday at a home in the 3900 block of Conrad Drive in Spring Valley, according to the San Diego County Sheriff's Department.
When they arrived, deputies found Pamela Williams "unresponsive with signs of trauma to her body," Lt. Joseph Jarjura said Wednesday. Paramedics took the 55-year-old woman to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead that afternoon.

"Sheriff's homicide investigators are working to gather more information to determine the circumstances surrounding her death," Jarjura said. "The investigation is ongoing."
No other details about her injuries were released. The cause and manner of her death will be determined by the San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office, Jarjura said.
