BevMo! Opens in Santee With a Line of Customers Around the Block

Friday morning hundreds of Santeeans lined up from the front door of the new BevMo! all the way to Cuyamaca Street and down the sidewalk waiting for the doors to open, and to get their goody bag.

As the 123^rd BevMo! the new 9,500 square foot location features a selection of more than 1,900 wines, 1,700 spirits, 1,850 beers and hundreds of gourmet food items, cocktail mixers, glassware, bar accessories and more.

BevMo! CEO Alan Johnson cut the ribbon in front of the new store with the Santee Chamber of Commerce and Councilmembers Rob McNelis and Jack Dale. Johnson said he's had his eye on opening a store in Santee as the city has developed over the years.
