10Gold and 12Gold in Clovis, CA at Nationals

Our girls are doing really good at Nationals, up in Clovis, CA!

ASA Nationals for 10Gold and 12Gold are being held in Clovis, CA this year.  This is a first.  Usually all the divisions are in different Cities at Nationals.  But we got the priviledge of having two of our All-Star teams going to Nationals in the same place!

They each had two Pool Play games before going into "Double Elimination" play. 

In their first Pool Play game on Wednesday, 12Gold played a team from East Oakland, CA called the "Phantoms", winning them 8-5.  They played their second game that night against a team from Coopertino, CA, called "Inferno".  Santee 12Gold was down for most of the game, but came back at the end to win them 5-4.

Winning both of these games, gave them the #1 Seed at Nationals and so their first bracket game is Friday at 10 a.m.  Go Santee 12Gold!

10Gold also started their pool play games on Wednesday, playing the California Grizzlies in their first game.  They won 12-0!  Way to go Santee!  

10Gold played their 2nd pool play game Thursday morning against Los Alamitos, unfortunately losing this game.

10Gold started their first bracket play game on Thursday, playing Simi Valley.  They won in International Tie Breaker, beating them 5-4!  Way to go Santee!
