Good Times in Santee: An Introduction!

Hello Santee!  My name is Jakki and I am a new Local Voice here on Patch.com.  I thought I would introduce myself and explain a bit about what to expect. 

My husband Jess and I moved to Santee in January and have really enjoyed the sense of community here.  We really love getting to know the area and attending local events, so this blog will mostly focus on our little adventures around town, as well as other nearby communities. I will share our experiences and photos to highlight more of what this area has to offer.

A little more about us, Jess works for a publishing company and is an aspiring author.  I am a musician, graphic designer and currently write for the blog, 'Tis The Season.

Our desire is to enjoy life to the fullest and appreciate the simple things, because having a good time doesn't always have to cost a fortune. There is no shortage of things to do around here, so my hope is that this blog will inspire others to get out into the community and enjoy all it has to offer.
