May is National Fitness month! It's time to get moving and get ready for the summer months. It is essential to be working out on a regular basis whether it is walking around the neighborhood or joining an aerobics class.
National Fitness month is also about eating and staying healthy; you can workout for the recommended about each week, but if you go and eat a cheeseburger and fries everyday, you are being counterproductive. Have those as a treat every once in a while and start to eat healthier this month. There's no better time than the present.

According to the Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans, it is recommended that adults get at least 150 minutes a week of moderate intensity; children and adolescents should get one hour of activity daily.
