Rebuilding Together: SD & SDAR Come to Aid Elderly Santee Couple
Rebuilding Together San Diego and the SD Association of Realtors team up to assist an elderly Santee couple make their home safer.
This week we talk with Glenn Bennett, Board Member for Rebuilding Together San Diego about that they will be taking on starting at 8:00 a.m. on April 28 at , Santee.
Rebuilding Together San Diego is a non-profit organization that helps low income home owners repair and beautify their homes with a focus on helping the elderly, disabled, and veterans.
This year the San Diego Association of Realtors is the title sponsor to help an elderly couple in Santee to make some minor repairs and do a whole lot of deferred maintenance work in landscaping that the couple can no longer handle on their own. More than that, the Realtor community is also going to be the largest group of individuals that volunteer to do the actual work.

If you are over the age of 16 and would like to volunteer, you can go to www.rebuildingtogethersd.org to sign up (although if you find you have a change in plans and are willing to help out last minute, we will welcome the help).
