What's Going on Talks About "TACA & Santee Santas" and More

This week we decided to try a new format, and thought it may be a bit rudimentary, it is not bad for a first run.

This week we decided to try a new format, and thought it may be a bit rudimentary, it is not bad for a first run. First I talk about the Gladiator Rock N Run going on at Barona Oaks Motocross Park.

This is a "Mud Run" that benefits an organization  called "TACA" which stands for Talk About Curing Autism. One of my closest friends, Heather Porter is the mother of an autistic son and a volunteer for TACA in LA and knows how important organizations like this are to raise funds and bring awareness to this worthy cause.

The event will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday 4/14/12 at 1800 Wildcat Canyon Rd. in Lakeside. They will have 3 bands, a beer garden, and tons of food, vendors and fun.

Next John Minto talks about the on the same day (4/14/12). 20 percent of each order will go to the Santee Santa's organization.

This is a group of individuals that have been all year long for the last 58 years! It is operated 100% by the help of some great volunteers and donations, and all of the money stays here in Santee to help those in most need.

If you like Rubios, you can find the flier attached to this blog, bring it on Saturday when you place your order.

Last we have have our boy GI Joe (Joe Scott), of and Personal Training with this weeks Get Fit in Santee tip of the week.
