Brush Fire Breaks Out In Alpine
Cal Fire and Alpine Fire Protection District responded to the scene.

ALPINE, CA – Firefighters quickly stopped a brush fire that broke out Tuesday morning in East San Diego County.
The blaze sparked around 10 a.m. near Huey Lane and Tavern Road in Alpine, according to Cal Fire. The fire, called the Huey Fire, scorched three acres and threatened two structures.
Cal Fire and Alpine Fire Protection District responded to the scene. Crews quickly stopped forward progress of the flames.

Sheriff's officials advised the public to avoid the area. Firefighters were expected to remain on the scene for a couple hours.
