Crews Contain 4-Acre Brush Fire In Santee: UPDATE

BREAKING: The roughly four-acre blaze broke out Tuesday near the intersection of West Hills Parkway and Mission Gorge Road.

SANTEE, CA – Firefighters have fully contained a brush fire Tuesday in Santee.

The blaze, which blackened about four open acres, broke out around 10:30 a.m. near the intersection of West Hills Parkway and Mission Gorge Road. The fire burned near homes, but no evacuations were ordered as crews were able to quickly gain control of the flames.

The fire caused no reported structural damage or injuries. West Hills Parkway was shut down while firefighters put out hot spots.
