Brush Fire Threatens Structures In East San Diego County
The blaze, called the Vista Fire, has burned about 25 acres in the Dehesa area, east of El Cajon, Cal Fire officials said.

SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CA – A brush fire prompted evacuation warnings and threatened structures Wednesday in San Diego's East County.
The blaze, called the Vista Fire, sparked late Wednesday afternoon off Vista de la Montana in the Dehesa area, east of El Cajon, according to Cal Fire. The fire spread about 25 acres and threatened structures in the area.
By Wednesday evening, firefighters stopped forward progress of the flames. The fire was 10 percent contained.

Evacuation warnings remained in effect for the streets of Calle de Nicole, Trafalgar Road and Vista de la Montana in the community of Dehesa, Cal Fire officials said.
