Burglary, Credit Card Fraud Suspect Caught On Camera In Santee

SANTEE, CA β Authorities are seeking the public's help in identifying a man suspected of burglary and credit card fraud in Santee.
The suspect allegedly used a stolen credit card to purchase items totaling more than $500 shortly after midnight May 6 at CVS at 9730 Mission Gorge Road, according to the San Diego County Sheriff's Department. The credit card had reportedly been stolen from a secured locker inside the 24 Hour Fitness at 9906 Mission Gorge Road.
According to officials, the man is also suspected of breaking into a secured locker inside the same 24 Hour Fitness and stealing a wallet between 11:10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. June 10. According to the San Diego County Sheriff's Department, the suspect then used a stolen credit card to purchase a $500 gift card at the Walgreen's at 9305 Mission Gorge Road.

The suspect attempted to use the stolen credit card at a nearby CVS store, officials said, but the card had been deactivated.
The suspect is described as white, between 30 and 40 years old, with a medium build and dark hair, according to officials. The suspect was seen wearing shorts, a T-shirt and tennis shoes or sandals. He was driving a dark colored car.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 888-580-8477. Tips may be submitted anonymously, and callers may be eligible for up to a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.
