Daily Dose: Road Improvements and National HIV Testing Day
The first public meeting about the new set of road projects is Monday night.
1. Phase 1 of Santee Road Improvements Public Meeting- The City of Santee is embarking on the largest set of road repairs and improvements in its history, and the most expensive, costing about $6.5 million.
Community meetings are being held for Phase 1 of the city's bundle of road improvement projects on June 27 and 28 in Building 8 of City Hall from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

"The state of California has the second largest number of Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS) cases in the United States, and San Diego County has the third largest number of AIDS cases in California. According to San Diego’s Health and Human Resources Agency, as of 2009 more than 14,000 cases of AIDS had been reported in San Diego County, with about 400 new cases being reported each year.
3. The patchy fog in the morning is expected to continue with a gradual clearing into a hot afternoon with a high near 88, according to the National Weather Service. The night time low is predicted to reach about 63.
