Deadline Extended For Santee Rental Assistance Program

SANTEE, CA — The application deadline has been extended for the city of Santee's rental assistance grant program for residents who are struggling to pay rent due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The application period was initially scheduled to close Monday but will remain open until funds are depleted, according to the city.

Interested Santee residents are required to complete an application and provide supporting documentation to demonstrate how they have been impacted by the pandemic.

The city selected local nonprofits Home Start and Interfaith Shelter Network to administer the rental assistance grant program. The organizations will review applications, answer emails and assist the city with administering this program.
