A smokey vegetation fire broke out on the right shoulder of I-8 Saturday morning and had closed eastbound lanes near Los Coches Road.
EL CAJON, CA — A brush fire that broke out on the right shoulder of Interstate 8 in El Cajon Saturday morning was sending smoke plumes into the air. The fire had closed all eastbound lanes on I-8, west of Los Coches Road, San Diego Caltrans tweeted Saturday morning.
