Enter Santee's Self-Guided Photo Challenge At City Parks

SANTEE, CA — The city of Santee is conducting a photo challenge, encouraging residents to get outside and take some snapshots about what makes our city a great place to live.

Prepare to be silly, salute the flag, run a race, and make a hand heart among other ideas as you snap your friends and family experiencing Santee's city parks. There's still time to enter, as the last day for photo submission is Jan. 31, according to the city.

The contest is self-guided, and the rules are simple. Just visit the park listed below, follow the instructions and return a photo to specialevents@cityofsantee.gov with "Santee Discovery Month" in the email subject line. Include your name and the park location or challenge number in the body of the email. That's it!

Winners will be chosen Feb. 1, they said.

Pose, hide, or be silly with the iconic ‘Big Rock’!
