The San Diego Chapter of the American Harp Society will feature two advanced student members.
Julia Schorn is a junior at Canyon Crest Academy and is currently the Principal Harpist with the San Diego Youth Symphony and Conservatory. Julia has delighted audiences with a diverse repertoire of classical, popular and religious music in many venues including the Grand Del Mar Hotel, the Westgate Hotel, Anthology,
private parties, teas, ceremonies and receptions. Julia performs on a Salvi Concert Grand.
Alexandra (Alex) Tibbitts has been playing the harp since she was 12. A musician and composer, currently at student at SDSU, she serves as the Principal Harpist
for the university’s Symphony Orchestra, Wind Symphony, and Symphonic Band. Alex plays a wide repertoire, including works by Zabeleta, Debussy, Tournier, and
Watkins.
