Predawn Fire Badly Damages East County Home
The fire caused an estimated $200,000 worth of property damage, officials said.
EL CAJON, CA — A predawn fire extensively damaged a Fletcher Hills home Monday.
The non-injury blaze in the 1100 block of Brockton Street in El Cajon erupted for unknown reasons shortly after midnight, according to Heartland Fire & Rescue.
Crews had the flames under control within about 40 minutes, said Andy McKellar, a spokesman for the agency.
