I am asking for your VOTE!
Voting for a fellow American for our Congress the most important responsibilities you and I have as a United States citizen and a California

Dear Friend,
Voting for a fellow American for our Congress the most important responsibilities you and I have as a United States citizen and a Californian. It is our opportunity to directly select a Representative like you and me who understand the issues we face and whose convictions will match their votes in San Diego and in Washington. Having been personally involved in the election process at the local, state and federal level for some time, I have long worked for positive reform in elections and campaign finance. My friends, family and I now feel that the time has come for me to seek elected office. I want to bring fresh ideas and positive solutions to the election process for voters like you and me by running for Congress. As some of you who have met me know, I have always been very concerned about the sway or influence of money (originating both here and abroad) over our candidates and the election process. I believe there are workable solutions that will enhance the election process at all levels of government. I would like to see the public financing of campaigns, thereby removing any need for outside money. I also support enforcing term limits, in addition to making Internet-based voting a reality, for the purpose of increasing voter turnout.
This June, I will be the only Independent self-funded candidate campaigning to become Congressman for California’s 50th Congressional District. Presently, there are four candidates running in this district, aside from myself, who are: David Secor (Democrat); Scott C. Meisterlin (Republican); Jeffrey P. Malloy (Democrat); and incumbent, Duncan D. Hunter (Republican). Mr. Hunter also was the first member of Congress to endorse Trump for President according to Politico, and is currently serving as the Co-Chair of Donald Trump’s U.S. House Leadership Committee.
I am running for personal and professional reasons. Therefore, I also want to publically share with my voters my personal reason for running. My primary opponent Duncan Hunter along with our San Diego County District Attorney Bonnie Dumanis are all patriotic Americans. Sadly, my personal experiences with our 50th Congressional District Office and our San Diego County District Attorney have given me a harsh awakening from the wrongdoings I have witnessed. I never thought what occurred, could happen in the United States of America. As a Christian I have forgiven Duncan Hunter and our San Diego County District Attorney Bonnie Dumanis. As an American, parent, educator and now a candidate for our United States Congress, I cannot and will not ignore my ethical responsibilities to speak the truth. As well as my legal obligations to be unconditionally honest, transparent and accountable. Justice delayed is justice denied. I implore Duncan Hunter and Bonnie Dumanis to please take this opportunity to fully bring to light, to the public, what transpired from March 2015 until the present. Concerning a very sensitive child-abduction; Islamic radicalism case directly dealing with my case. Thereby letting the public be the judge of what is right and wrong. Elected office is a privilege and not a right. The public deserves to know who is representing them. An incident like the one that happen in San Bernardino could have been prevented if more awareness of Islamic radicalism was taken seriously by our elected officials.
My professional reasons for running for public office as an educator, technologist and youth pastor are the following.
I have openly challenged all the candidates to a public debate on the pressing issues of our time like job creation, education, border security, immigration, crime, and foreign policy to name a few. The candidates have refused to debate me via inaction. To my knowledge the two Republican and the two Democrats have not debated each other. Public debate is the cornerstone of democracy, accountability and transparency. Democracy delayed is democracy denied. This is very concerning for me as a voter, tax payer and candidate. In addition to this insult to our election process, certain filing information at the San Diego Registrar was deliberately incomplete. Such as no email or telephone numbers, etc. The 18th-century Irish philosopher and statesman Edmund Burke famously said “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing”. I will not remain silent because I know my students I have lost to inner-city violence are watching over me from Heaven. I am compelled by principled conviction to speak out and fight to leave a more accountable, transparent and democratic election process for our children.
As the sole Independent candidate, I am obligated by conviction as a parent, youth pastor, educator, and technologist, to empower our voters, by not only organizing a campaign, but by calling for a movement. This is why I named my campaign website AmericaCalifornia.com - because I will do what is best for all of America, while also proudly representing our 50th District as a faithful San Diego native. Most importantly, I will not show bias nor partisanship once elected to office. I am an American first, and I will continue to act like one. For the people of the 50th Congressional District, I am here to get the job done.
For example, here are some ways I will get the job done. I am excited and dedicated in taking Smart-Government technology initiatives to the next level, by promoting a modern 24/7 50th Congressional Internet Portal that will:
• Empower, inspire and facilitate residents’ questions that will be answered in a timely manner.
• Allow constituents to book appointments via website, email or telephone to meet with me as their Congressman, face-to-face and our Congressional Office.
• Accurately display all my financial dealings and those of members of my Congressional Office
• Volunteer to wear a GPS device during working hours, so voters may know how to locate me, to make it easier to meet me in person, so they may share their concerns. This is very important for accountability and transparency. We as voters and tax payers should know if our Congressman is at work drafting, passing important legislation or at a golf course or Disney Land like my opponent did according to Esquire.
• Invite press agencies like the ICIJ (International Consortium of Investigative Journalists) to have a dedicated desk in my office on Capitol Hill and San Diego. I am proud to be an early supporter of ICIJ and the Panama Papers.
• Deploy Facebook Live session in morning and closing of the day to inspire public input, Q&A and to offer a report summary to my constituents of my dealings of the day.
• Explore the possibility of opening several more additional 50th Congressional Offices to better serve our community, in addition to our Washington DC, El Cajon, Temecula Offices.
We all know there is a lot more work ahead of us. What I mentioned above is just the beginning. But like you, I am committed to making your voice heard in Congress. I also want Congress to return to what it was meant to be – a representative form of government that is only inspired and moved by the voice of the people. I will also remain true to our federal Constitution by working hard to protect and expand our First Amendment, Free Press Clause and Free Flow of Information Act. I will also play a vigorous role in making our government more transparent and accessible to voters such as you, through the use of more time-efficient postings in social media.
To reiterate, another important issue is genuine accountability and transparency for politicians and candidates. We have been allowing Citizens United to directly influence the election process, which undermines our democracy. We need to find ways to end such powerful influence over our election process by an unidentifiable few.
To succeed in this effort, I need to mount an aggressive campaign. My opponent, according to Voter Edge, has collected more campaign money originating from outside the state of California than from within. Aside from this, the startling revelation that my opponent is also a member of the Azerbaijan Caucus. In addition, our Federal Election Commission has investigations of Mr. Hunter illegal campaign spending according to the San Diego Tribune. Once again, this is why I am proud to be an early supporter of the ICIJ, International Consortium of Investigative Journalists, which has disclosed the startling revelations of Azerbaijan’s political elite’s secret offshore bank accounts. By no means is this a one-sided problem. The establishment of both parties, Democrat and Republican, have benefited immensely from allowing too much money in politics.
In the last week of April, 2016, the House Armed Services committee passed a groundbreaking bill, H. R. 4478, that Mr. Hunter sponsored entirely on his own. A measure that would require our daughters to sign up for the Military Selective Service Act, thereby making them eligible for the draft. This is the same person who tacitly approved the use of tactical nuclear devices on civilians according to US NEWS & C-SPAN. As a father I ask you to please help me keep our daughters safe and out of harm’s way. This is a compelling reason for why I am running as an Independent.
It is for these reasons and many others that I have decided to offer the voters of the 50th Congressional District a real choice in primary election, to take place on Tuesday, June 7, 2016. As an Independent, this campaign will also require a strong and organized grassroots organization. I have already spoken with many of you, have carefully listened to your concerns, and I am eager to work with you. Committed volunteers are needed to share this email, contact people via social media, telephone people to let voters know about the election this Tuesday 7th, 2016.
As you can imagine, I cannot do this alone. That is why I am inviting people who want our government to return to what it originally was meant to be - a representative form of government by everyday people like you and me. Vote FUJI FOR CONGRESS and together we can make a real difference. I am not here to simply ask other people for their hard-earned money like my opponents.
There should have been a public debate with all the candidates gathered together at least once a week immediately after all of us were officially on the ballot. There is no excuse. Our democracy, our voters and tax payers deserve better. Therefore, many veterans, voters and myself have concluded that my opponents collectively, are unpredictable and proved that they lack the good judgment, commitment to public concerns and dedication to genuine election reform to be our next Congressman.
I am excited to offer solutions for our 50th Congressional District, our great state of California and the greatest nation history has ever witnessed, founded on transparency, accountability and a personal commitment to remain true to our federal Constitution. In all of my dealings, whether in Washington or here, I will remain a committed Christian.
And, if there is a runoff until the November Election, with your vote on Tuesday 7th, June, 2016, I openly declare to relentlessly fight for a public debate with the other candidate once a week or more thereafter. I and the other candidates owe this much to you the voter, tax payer and our democracy.
In the first 100 days in office there is so much to be done. One of many important issues I will address is genuine transparency and accountability. I will with your help make our 50th Congressional Office the most transparent, accountable, efficient and voter friendly Congressional Office ever imagined. No more doing business as usual. With your direct participation together we will set the public standard of what a Congressional Office should be; Of the People, By The People, For The People!
In conclusion, honest election reform starts with a candidate like myself, one who will not accept campaign contributions. Contact your candidates to lead by example like myself to tell them to return their campaign donations to the hard-working, tax paying Americans. I am running for the United States Congress with my own money, so why can’t they? Washington DC, our democracy and the election process are no longer for sale! There should have been a public debate at least once a week once all of us were officially on the ballot. There is no excuse. Our democracy, our voters and tax payers deserve better. Therefore, I and my voters I have met with, have concluded that my opponents collectively, are unpredictable and proved that they lack the good judgment, commitment to public concerns and dedication to genuine election reform to be our next Congressman.
I am proud to offer a solution for our 50th Congressional District founded on transparency, accountability and a personal commitment to remain true to our federal Constitution. In all of my dealings, whether in Washington or here, I will remain a committed Christian.
A vote from you this Primary Election will help raise the initial awareness needed to launch genuine election reform, and get our message out to the public. I hope that you’ll help me bring better government to the people of America and California. I ask for your support in making history this election. I ask for your vote for AMERICA and for CALIFORNIA!
