Man Fatally Struck By Vehicle In East County
The man, who was about 70 to 80 years old, was pronounced dead at the scene, El Cajon police Lt. Darrin Forster said.
EL CAJON, CA — A man was struck and killed over the weekend in San Diego's East County.
The fatal crash happened shortly before 11 p.m. Saturday in the 1300 block of East Main Street in El Cajon, according to the El Cajon Police Department.
The man, who was about 70 to 80 years old, was pronounced dead at the scene, El Cajon police Lt. Darrin Forster said. His identity was unknown.

The motorist stayed at the scene to cooperate with police, Forster said
"At this point in the investigation, alcohol or drugs are not suspected to be a factor in the collision," Forster said.
