SAN DIEGO, CA — Authorities Monday publicly identified a man who was killed when the three-wheel all-terrain cycle he was riding crashed in a rural neighborhood in eastern San Diego County.
Richard Taylor, 68, and his 2-year-old grandson were aboard the Honda 250SX when it tipped over after apparently running into a decorative boulder in the front yard of a house in the 12100 block of Serena Road in Lakeside about 7:30 p.m. last Monday, according to the county Medical Examiner's Office.
A neighbor found Taylor lying unconscious in front of the home, the agency reported. Taylor, a Lakeside resident, died at the scene of the accident.
