Man, Woman Found Dead In Santee Home

Both victims suffered head trauma, sheriff's Lt. Michael Krugh​​ said.

SANTEE, CA — Two seniors were found dead in their home over the weekend in Santee, authorities said.

An elderly man and woman were found dead around 11:25 a.m. Sunday in their home in the 300 block of Lantern Way, according to the San Diego County Sheriff's Department.

Both victims suffered head trauma, sheriff's Lt. Michael Krugh said.

Their names were withheld pending family notification.

"Sheriff's homicide investigators are working to gather more information to determine the circumstances of these deaths," Krugh said. "There (is) no outstanding suspect and no danger to the community. The investigation is ongoing."
