New Spring Market To Bring Over 100 Vendors To Santee Lakes

SANTEE, CA — A new outdoor shopping event featuring more than 100 local vendors will debut Saturday at Santee Lakes.

The inaugural Spring Market is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Lake 1 area, according to event organizers.

Organizers said the market expands on the popularity of the annual Ladies at the Lake Fall Market, offering another opportunity for visitors to shop from a curated collection of local vendors.

"We are once again excited to welcome the public to a beautiful, outdoor space to shop and support local businesses," event coordinator Shawna Fakhouri said. "We also want guests to see what a great venue Santee Lakes is for their next event, big or small."

Vendors will offer a wide range of goods, including bath and body products, clothing, hand-poured candles, home décor, jewelry, makeup and skincare, pottery, preserves, spices, wall art and more.

Food and drinks will be available on-site. The gazebo area will feature a drinks lounge with Bella Beverage Catering, Burly and The Bean Coffee Roasters and Cal & Kai's Lemonade. Food vendors, including BBQ House, Big Boyz Tacos and MJ's Eatery Philly Cheesesteaks, will be located outside of the gazebo.

The event is free to attend, but there will be a $10 parking fee.
