Police Search For Drivers In East County Hit-And-Run Crashes
Police are asking witnesses to come forward and help identify the drivers in both crashes.

EL CAJON, CA – Police in El Cajon were searching for hit-and-run drivers in two separate crashes early Tuesday, one of which left a pedestrian seriously hurt.
The first collision happened around 5 a.m. when the driver of a silver car struck a pedestrian in the 500 block of Joey Street, near Interstate 8.
The victim, whose name was not immediately available, was taken to a hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries, according to CBS8.

About 45 minutes later, a driver crashed an SUV into several parked cars in the 300 block of Filbert Street, near Lexington Avenue, then fled, Fox5 reported.
Police were asking witnesses to come forward and help identify the drivers in both crashes.
