I tend to see any movie Will Smith is in... because he chooses movies that are family friendly, heart-warming, funny, thought-provoking, big on special effects and action, and/or a combination of the above. This movie, imho, was ALL of the above. In this one, however, Will Smith chooses to take a back seat to his son Jaden, who is our hero in the film... and while it did get off to a slow start, I and those I was with laughed, cried, jumped, and cheered, and we all walked away high on the fun of having watched it :) Take kids who are 8 or older...
