San Diego Humane Society Offers 50+ Job Opportunities

SANTEE, CA — The San Diego Humane Society plans to hire more than 50 people for a variety of career opportunities across its four campuses, the nonprofit announced Tuesday.

Animal lovers can apply for openings in animal care, veterinary care, humane law enforcement, philanthropy volunteer engagement and communications.

"We are looking for inspired team members who can work for us and change the world," said Vice President of Employee Engagement Tina Nguyen.

Some available positions qualify for a "signing bonus" of up to $1,000 and were listed on the nonprofit's career bulletin.

Many positions list benefits such as paid time off, paid holidays, medical insurance, long-term disability insurance, life insurance, a retirement savings plan, flexible spending accounts, a wellness program and employee discounts.

SDHS, which first opened in 1880, has locations in El Cajon, Oceanside, Ramona, San Diego and Escondido.
