Santee Sheriff's Station Hosts 'Coffee With The Community'

"Community outreach is a top priority of the San Diego County Sheriff's Department," officials said.

SANTEE, CA — Santee community members have a chance to chat with personnel from the Santee Sheriff's Station during "Coffee with the Community" on Oct. 4.

The event is scheduled from 8:30-9:30 a.m. at the McDonald's at 8876 Cuyamaca St. in Santee.

"Community outreach is a top priority of the San Diego County Sheriff's Department," officials said in an event announcement. "Members of the community should feel comfortable bringing problems related to safety and security to our staff."

The station's command staff, deputies, crime prevention specialist and senior volunteers will be available to exchange ideas and concerns with community members over free coffee.
