Santee Woman Wins $10,000 From Ellen DeGeneres Show: Report
Santee mom Susie Conway received a huge check on Ellen's final episode. But it's hardly the first prize the show has given her.

SANTEE, CA — A Santee woman and Ellen DeGeneres superfan received $10,000 on the long-running talk show’s final episode, the San Diego Union-Tribune reported.
This was far from the first gift that Susie Conway, a mom and school instructional aide, has received from the show. Conway has appeared on “The Ellen Show” at least nine times since 2013, according to the Union-Tribune. During those appearances, she’s won some life-changing prizes: in 2013, Conway won a red Hyundai as part of the “What’s in the Box” game, which she still drives.
In 2014, the show upped the ante and provided Conway and her family with a new house. Producers rented a house for the Conway family while their old house, which was described as in bad disrepair after Marcus Conway lost his job, was demolished to make way for a gleaming new house.

On May 25, Conway and 12 other members of a group that calls itself the “Lucky 13” were invited back to the show for one last prize: $10,000 checks for each of them.
Conway told the Union-Tribune she doesn’t know what she did to get such outsize attention from Ellen, other than regularly asking for tickets for the show. ““I don’t know if there’s any words,” Conway told the Union-Tribune when asked the sort of difference she’s made in her life. “We’ve been blown away by the kindness and generosity of everything and the continued support.”
